Looking Back: The '77 Flood
This DVD, a project of WJAC-TV and The Tribune-Democrat, brings together powerful vintage television footage and newspaper photographs with compelling recent interviews to tell the story of the deadly flood that tore through the Johnstown area in July 1977. The DVD features:WJAC-TV's special one-hour program on the flood, originally aired on the 30th anniversary of the flood; extended interviews with the print and broadcast reporters who waded out to get the story in 1977; thesong "Johnstown Pride," written and recorded by Johnstown native Gary Stoner; and more.
