    The late Phillip J. Hoffman of Johnstown was an artist and engineer. This full-color collection of Hoffman's drawings in pencil, pen and color depicts the Pennsylvania canal system from 1826-1857; the drawings are noted for their historical accuracy. William H. Shank chose the drawings for the book, and is the author of its foreward. In oversized booklet format, 80 pages.
